Dandruff also called is Seborrhea and scalp. Dandruff is due to the extreme radiating of dead skin cells from the scalp. Many people have this prolonged scalp disorder, which is marked by itching and excessive flaking of the scalp. Dandruff can occur at any age but is most often present in people between the ages of 12 and 80.
For most people, the signs and symptoms of dandruff are certainly: white, oily looking flakes of dead skin that trifle your hair and shoulders and an itchy, scaling scalp. Some conditions can cause excessive skin scaling, having betimes sensitivities to certain hair-care products or hair dyes can cause a red, itchy, scaling scalp. Cradle cap (seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp) disorder, causes a scaling, crusty scalp, is mostly common in newborns, but it can happen anytime during infancy.
It affects more than 50% of the population of the USA. Male hormones may play a part in dandruff. Men also have bigger sebaceous glands that forms an oil called sebum. For that reason, having unduely oily skin and hair makes you more prone to dandruff. Many cases of dandruff don’t need a doctor’s care.
Other treatment for seborrhoeic dermatitis can help control symptoms of dandruff but cannot elixir the condition. Malassezia subsists on oils in your scalp. In generic, mild scaling can usually be helped by daily cleansing with a gentle shampoo to reduce oiliness and cell buildup. Anti-fungal/anti-dandruff shampoos containing ketoconazole have been shown to be more persuasive than zinc pyrithione. Eggs and cabbage also offer vitamin B6 in addition to providing sulfur that is nature’s beauty mineral for the scalp.
Hair sprays, styling gels, mousses and hair waxes can all nurture up on your hair and scalp, making them oilier. Onions are high in sulfur. Cut a fresh onion in half and snag it on the scalp. Rinse your hair once a week with a sulfur based soap. Don’t use hair products that have alcohol which dries out the scalp. Mix some camphor in coconut oil. Use this oil for daily application on the scalp. It should be done finely, with the fingertips working at the hair roots in the scalp.
The problem of dandruff will be resolved in about fifteen days. Use lemon juice sweetened with sugar on the scalp. Make a mixture of lemon juice in coconut oil. Apply this mixture on the hair and massage it deep into the scalp. Do this regularly for a few days. It will reduce the dandruff and make the hair shining.
